Fiji's national carrier Air Pacific says it is facing a shortage of pilots.

According to The Fiji Times, the airline needs to recruit 67 more pilots in the next five years.

It says many pilots are accepting more attractive positions with foreign airlines or have retired.

Air Pacific is now working on a five-year plan to attract new pilots.
