Title:Any Airport Hotel Recommendation in Hong Kong?
Post 1 Any Airport Hotel Recommendation in Hong Kong? Mar 14,08 09:38 AM

Planning a business trip to Hong Kong in late April and the work location will be around the airport, does anyone know what are the hotel options there? Also, recent reviews, web links and even photos on those airport hotels in HKG will be highly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

The obvious one is Regal Airport Hotel (Hong Kong) with its official website at http://www.regalhotel.com/Regal-Airport-Hotel/Main/Hotel-Home/Hotel-Home.aspx

However, there are also a few others closeby to Cathay City (the HQ of Cathay Pacific Airways), which is not too far from the airport terminal. One of them is the Novotel Citygate Hong Kong, it is probably 5 minutes from the airport by car etc.

Sorry but I am probably not justified to comment on any of these properties as I always stay in the City in order to enjoy more shopping and nightlife options.

Cheers.

Thanks a lot, lingam. Greatly appreciated.

Anyone has first-hand experience with Novotel Citygate HK?

Hi Maccha,

If you are an employee of Cathay Pacific Airways or one of its associated companies, you can also stay at their exclusive Headland Hotel (http://www.headland.com.hk) at Cathay City, which is the HQ of Cathay Pacific Airways now.

You have to provide your employee details at the time of booking if your company is one of the dozens accepted by the hotel.

Cheers

Thanks for bring this up. I have always wanted to stay at that hotel too, but never had the chance since I don"t work for Cathay Pacific or one of their affiliates. Looks like it"s time to switch my job? Just kidding.

If anyone has some experience with Headland Hotel, would love to see some feedback or comments posted here.

Keep up the good work guys.

Well, it is alright, I"d say slightly above average according to Novotel standard.

Seriously I"d stay somewhere in the CBD even if I have to go to the airport for work.

Thankyou anyway, I have decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile in Tsimshatsui.

Cheers.
